hehe, buttnose. XD
I mean who's gonna tell you to draw this and that? It's up to you to decide if you want to be work freelance or find a job at a company, or maybe you just want to post stuff on deviantArt and not exactly show your skills, but what I aim here is for you to improve your versatility.
No doubt about it, your coloring techniques and ability to adapt to different art styles (which I find impressive) are top notch. Having the ability to draw, not color, I mean draw the lines of a body in perspective, and giving it a feel of movement, staleness, "dynamic slumber", basically make your traces on the paper penetrate the viewer's mind, having this ability of mastering all situations will help you achieve a lot more.
Take for example a street artist. Those guys that do portraits of people. They're excellent portrayers of reality, but... that's just it. They can't really do anything else, can they? I mean, generally. You won't see most draw this awesome never seen before thing they just made up, right?
Versatility. One of my philosophies. That's why I chose to study Science instead of going to Arts or Languages which would be much easier for me. "But Ocelot, your drawings suck". Yeah, but they're decent for who's never studied art seriously, I think.
So, to wrap things up, good job, keep it up, level up if you can (there's always something to improve) and sorry to hear (*cough* read) that you have 2 jobs to be able to go to college. That's hard. That's really hard work. It's hard now, it'll be harder later, but in the long run it'll damn sure pay out, so go get 'em!!!
